I say who cares what the husband thinks ! Get creative and do it !
I wished I had the nerve I have now, after what I wanted to do and what the husband ended up doing ( $700.00 later !!!! )

Grab it ! It would cost you much more to make the same thing from scratch. All you'd need is some heavy-duty hardware cloth, and some 4x4 legs to set that coop on 4' legs. Talk to a kid in wood shop or the local high school wood shop teacher. That would be a fun & quick project!
