Hi quail lovers! I have owned quail for 4 months but they have already made a place in my heart.

These are some of my cuties. The one on the shower curtain is in my workspace. He was hurt.

The male with all of the females was a male who just stared at my phone while all the other females just ran around him. How photogenic.

The last one I will describe is an egg. Yesterday I got my first egg!

I'm also new to quail. I started raising Coturnix April 2020 at the outset of the Covid outbreak in the US. I've hatched 1 batch (poorly, from a set of shipped eggs) and purchased two sets of chicks (8 in the first, 3 celadon in the second)

Here's a picture of my first attempt at a hutch and run.
