Crazy barred rock chick chasing lazer video.....

I decided to see if any of my chicks would chase a lazer like my dogs, and so I went out to the coop, and had a go at it. All of my chicks except my barred rock ran away from it, but that rock was just determined to get it. I grabbed my video camera, and tried to film it. The video sucks, but you can definately see him chasing something. You can't really see the lazer in the video, but thats what it is. Anyway enjoy, and if you have a lazer go give your chicks some excersize.

I should have used my green lazer it is a lot brighter.

Barred rocks will try to eat anything that doesn't out-run them.

My BR hen is a pig, and I brooded a BR pullet for a friend, for a few weeks, it acted the same way - crazy for anything that might be food

.

They are funny chickens.
