Crazy broody chicken

I think Im putting this in the right place and heres my story:
I have a gamecock hen who has never decided to go broody and I thought gamecocks never went broody so is there anyone out there who has had this happen before? She has been sitting on 6 eggs for about 4 days now and I just dont get it....I know that there are alot of breeds that do this but Im just shocked that this is happening now...To top this all off and what really shocks me is that she used to eat her eggs...WoW I just cant wrap my brain around this one.

Old English Games are some of the broodiest chickens. As for formerly being an egg eater... well, chickens are odd, aren't they?

The thing is for as long as I have reaised games not a one has gone broody until now. Of cousre her name is Misfit...lol
