wherever and whenever. any way to help her to know where a good place to lay is? I am finding eggs ALL over. Seriously, in the floor of the coop, under the porch, one under the clothesline, one just out in the middle of the yard, one under the car port. I'd be fine if she'd just pick a place even, this changing daily...it's like easter every day hunting for her eggs. They are all out of the coop from about 8am- till dust. None of the others just drop and go. I say drop and go, cause she doesn't even stop walking while laying, she just keeps going

Try leaving her in the coop by herself for a few days while the others are out all day and put a golf ball in a nest and let her get used to having to lay in the coop then she will most likely start going back to lay. I have had to do it that way a couple of times.

I agree with beekybuzzard. I would put a golf ball, wooden or plastic egg in each of the nest boxes and leave her in the coop for a few days too. Try the balls or fake eggs first.
