Crazy huge egg...

One of my girls laid a HUGE egg this morning (I have no roosters, only want eggs for food, not for more chickens)...it won't even fit in the egg carton. Is this common? Thanks in advance.
 
Sort of, I had 1 Red Star that would lay extra large eggs and an Easter Egger that would lay a double yolker occasionally.
