My roo is starting to turn on my older hens. He almost killed one of them, i brought her in. Now he has separated another one but i think shes faster so she hasnt got attacked yet. But the one he did attack i just discovered she has round worms, could this be the reason?

Yes he just started mating about a month ago. At first i thought it was a hawk.So i brought her in and then turn her back out the next morn. He came running from across the yard and attacked as soon as he seen her. Im afraid she'll never be able to go back with the flock.

Awww, sorry about that!!! But yes, young roosters do that...they love to pick out a specefic hen and "hunt" her down and mate her nonstop...it should hopefully calm down after a month or so!!!
