I just bought 3 cream legbar chicks. 2 pullets and a cockerel. The lady threw in an extra cream legbar and a serama cockerel. Do i have 3 pullets or 2 and 2. One of the legbars im questioning is darker than the cockerel and doest have a spot on the head like him so im guessing it is a pullet.[IMG][/IMG][/IMG]

Oh how sweet--she dumped her extra cockerels on you!

Seriously, that's what I see. that Serama is a boy, and while I'm not an expert on CCL, looks to me like you have two and two.

Lol which other cl do you think is a boy? The red one right? I told her i would take 2 boys and 2 girls but one of them was questionable to me. One is obviously better quality to use as a breeder when mature.Yes the serama is a boy. I have a pretty little hen for him when he gets older though. Lol

Hers better pictures. The redish one is the one im questioning. Im pretty sure the 2 dark ones are pullets and the head spot one is cockerel

I have no experience with the breed, but in those new pictures it looks as if you have 3 pullets and 1 cockerel.

I have been working with Legbar since 2011. Below is the way I count them.

I realize that I am about 3 weeks late to comment on this but was hoping you would post updated photos to confirm our count by showing what they look like after they are a few weeks old.
