Cream legbars

Thank you so much for your helpful advice. Really appreciate it. I'll start the routine straight away!
Hello! I believe you have three hens to be as well! I have three 101/2 week old Legbars also and they are very friendly as well as good eaters and drinkers so take this other posters advice and bribe them away to tame them for sure. It will work in a heartbeat. Mine like to ride the feeder in the air before I make it to the ground in the brooder with them as well as the waterers. You will love them. Here is some pics and good luck with your pullets. These are not my best pic but you can see what is what at 10 weeks and how they mesh with my entire flock. I love them.

Thank you so much. They're gorgeous. I haven't integrated them with the others yet (5 12wk old birds) as I have read a few different ideas and tips. Somebody did just say "open the door!"

No you don’t want to do that. Definitely it. You need to keep them I. A quarantine for at least two full weeks to thirty days depending on their health in a completely separate area away from your birds but it is okay if your birds can see them and get used to them being there but not be able to free range with them or have any contact with them until you ave adequate time for the quarantine period to pass and you to assess their true health. Then you can introduce them slowly and their are techniques on BYC about doing so. Just do this topic search and you will find all you want. Right now for some reason I am running a 102 temp that is out of the blue which I must now address. I do apologize that I cannot be more help.

Thanks so much for the signpost. Do look after yourself :)

Legbars color is called crele or creole though right? Since it's barring on top of patterning rather than color and white? Or am I messing that up? xD
Hello! I’m back from the dead at least for a while. I believe you are right. I’m no expert. I believe the females have the barred on their heads. They are black and white with the spotted- what looks like to me which some would call it- the barred patten. My three Legbar hens two are bigger than my third one and have really big plumage on their comes and it is black and white pattern and a deeper black. I think the photo I posted of the single hen is the one of my little hen we call Tiny Tina and she doesn’t have as large a comb. They also are doing the best in my Mississippi heat and humidity by the way. I just thought I would throw that in there.

Hope you're feeling better :) as always thanks for the very helpful info. Yesterday I began a 2 week integration programme. However, just went out, and they've escaped and joined the other flock and they're all asleep in a line! Not sure if that's lovely news or worrying but I thought I'd share 😃
