Is there such a thing as a crested breed that lays colored eggs?
I've seen some EE mixes that are crested - and they are BEAUTIFUL! But I was wondering if there is a actual breed.
Thanks

Only the Cream Legbars will be created and lay tinted/colored eggs.
Cream Lagbars are the only Legbar that has the Araucana as a ancestor.

I'm working on some EE's with blue eggs that have crests. Right now they're small crests but the second gen may have large ones too.

They lay in the blue to white spectrum shown (not the green)

Crossing Polish, Houdan, Crevecouer, or a good Sultan to a blue egg layer does the trick, but the second generation is what gives you a bigger truly noticeable crest.

Illia, I saw your auction earlier. Beautiful birds!!!
I'm just getting my coop set and a run built around it so it will probably be spring before I am able to actually get some birds. Is there a possibility that you might have some in April/May?

Here is the crested muffed and rumpless blue eggers I am working on. They lay beautiful blue eggs, even better color than most of my true araucana.

I am going to be selling blue egger chicks in the spring.
