Crested Cream Legbar Help!

Hoping there are some chicken people out there with a special interest in this breed, as I could use some help and reassurance. I am new to this breed and had chicks shipped to me that were hatched on Wednesday. I have read that females are darker and males have sports on their heads. Ordered 3 pullets, and an extra chick was thrown in. It seems I have two darker colored chicks, who have sports on their heads, and two lighter colored chicks, with no spots? Can anyone with experience regarding the breed tell me what I’ve got? Photos numbered for easy reference.

Cream Legbar females are single barred while males are double barred.

Therefore the females typically should be darker chipmunk usually with a small white head dot. Males much lighter chipmunk with a larger head dot.

Not sure what's up with your chicks, as no head dots on the lighter, but I should think the darker chipmunk should be girls and lighter boys.

I just got six females who have double stripes down their backs. Some are lighter in appearance but the double stripe is key.

I had two WITH head dots that are now, at four weeks, clearly female. There seems to be a pretty big variation with hatchery quality chicks.

If they look like chipmunks, they are female. There are slight variations.

Those combs are definitely a new variation.
