Crimson King maple toxicity?

Hey folks,

Does anyone know if crimson king/red maples are toxic to anything besides horses and cattle? My friend's neighbor has one overhanging her pasture where she's housing her new ducks. She's wondering if she should move the ducks. I can't find anything online about it...

Never heard of maples being toxic to any animal. But, I don't own any horses or cows. If you find out anything more about this, please let us know. I'm curious!
