Crippled chick

We have two chicks that are about a week old. Haven't been able to get to them much because momma is very protective but I have noticed one hops around on one foot and holds the other foot up with the toes curled like a claw. Anything I should do or can the chick adapt on its own?

I made a support for mine on its elbow bit and taped its toes straight with micropore
Not too tight! Changed it every few days
And fed it marmite on bread and butter
Took about ten days and he's perfect now
