CREAM CHEESE CHICKEN

1 pkg. Good Season Italian Dressing Mix
3-4 chicken breast, raw, cubed
1 stick butter
1 can Cream of Chicken soup
¾ c. cream cheese
Combine dressing, chicken and butter in crockpot. Cook for 4 hours on high, 6 hours on low. Take chicken out and add remaining ingredients, mixing well. Return chicken to crockpot and cook on high for ½ hour. Serve with noodles or rice. BTW, I almost always end up doubling this recipe, because once it's cooked everyone wants more.

When you say you double this recipe for your family, how many people are you doubling it for?

Well, I hate to admit this, but all the kids are grown and gone, and it's just Rick and I most of the time. I still double it, because Rick loves it so that he wants to carry some in his lunch the next day (yes, cold) or have some as a late night snack, or..well, you know there's always a time for a guy to have a snack. But, if the kids come over there are 10 of us, and a double batch gets cleaned out.

I'll try that too. I have to go grocery shopping thirsdays anyways.
It is dry italian seasoning mix right?
add on :: can i substitude boneless chicken thigh? its cheaper, or maybe turkey cubed?
