Crooked tail?

I have a 4 month old pullet that i just got and she has a crooked tail,
i herd that you cant show pullets with a crooked tail.
you think i will straighten up?
and i just joined any tips to?

I had a polish pullet like that. I could feel that her back was crooked and that caused her tail to point to the left. In the case of the polish it was a Disqualification for showing, you'd have to check the standards for you breed. But feel along her back and you might find the same problem I had. I think it was called "Sway Back", but I'm not certain.

At anyrate, she was sweet, it did't prevent her from laying eggs and so we kept her and enjoyed her -- but showed her sister

If she just got out of the shipping box, I'd give her a week or so. She might have been cramped in the box or not ridden well.

You'll have to check your SOP to see if it is a disqualification. It will certainly count down if it is not a disqualification
