Our chicks are around 6 weeks old, and this big baby has a hard time walking... both the big ones do... but this one has crooked fingers or toes or whatever. What can I give these two to help strengthen their bones/legs, and what is up with this one baby’s toes?!?! Worried we kept them in their brooder/mini coop too long?!?!?!

Are the legs really that thick and short? I'm not sure if that's right...Hmm. Must be imagining things:idunno:)
Usually you want to fix that when they're young and their bones are still soft. However, you could try now. It'll probably still work.
I usually use Band-Aids to wrap around the toes and get them to heal straight. Don't do it too tight, and you might want to put something in between to stop the Band-aid from sticking to their toes. It's kind of hard to explain... Try searching it up, something like "how to fix crooked toes". If all goes well, they should be waking normal in a few days!

So basically splint the toes that are crooked? They’ve apparently been like that for his or her whole life. I just noticed it yesterday, but this particular chick has always had problems walking. Are they too big?!?! Are they too fat for their little legs?

Sort of like a splint. You just put the Band-aid on with the toes like how they should be. Here's a picture from scratchcradle.wordpress.com

I don't know if it's just me (chick feet tend to grow really fast, and I haven't seen them for a while). Either I'm just seeing it weird, or maybe their feet are just extra thick and strong from having to make up for the toes.;)

All that glitters is not gold anymore than every white chicken in the world is a white leghorn. Your chickens look suspiciously like Cornish Xs or other fryer-broiler type of chicken. OK Mrs. Old Hen likes dogs. This white leghorn looks to (shall we say) sturdy to be a leghorn chicken of any flavor.

Wow!!! So you’re thinking they’re Cornish game chicks?! Ugh stinking Tractor Supply! Lol
