This is one of my buff Wyandottes, I bought her with the crooked toes. She walked great and didn’t show that they bothered her. Over the last two weeks she is laying down more often and isn’t walking all that well. She is also leaning to the right as she lays down and when she stands she is standing on the elbow, but only on the right foot. In the picture of her standing on the feed bin is the way she stands. Does anyone have any suggestions on what it could be and how to help her? I would hate to butcher her before she’s even started laying. Thanks in advanc!

Welcome to BYC. That type of crooked toe doesn't usually cause lameness. Can you post a video of her walking?

I have a buff Brahma with the same thing, she doesn't show any problems with walking and she is a big girl. Maybe something else going on....
She is sitting on her elbow on the right leg but standing on her foot on the left. It’s very strange because she was fine for walking outside of a limp when she walked.
