I have a 3 y/o black sex link that I've been treating for sour crop. I've got the sour crop to go away by withholding food for 24 hours. I treated with miconazole and safeguard. She's had 2 days of soft food: eggs, yogurt, and oatmeal. Her crop is finally starting to go down, but now the bottom of her crop is full of rocks/grit and I have no idea how to get it out. I've tried massages, but that doesn't seem to work. She's wearing a crop bra, and she's still able to eat soft foods. Any ideas?

Give her a probiotic for a few days. It's normal to have grit in the crop following a crop issue. It should clear up in a week or so. Don't worry about it.
Thank you! I started probiotic water today. Her crop was smaller than yesterday morning, still some grit. So progress!
