A week ago I acquired some chicks of varying ages (6weeks -12 weeks) who had already been treated for cocci. One chick (I think the oldest one) has normal looking poops EVERY day that have blood in them.

I have six other 3.5 week old chicks and now one of them has a similiar poop.

All the chicks are inside in 2 separate brooders and are acting/eating normally.

The older chicks need to start going outside, but if there is an issue, I want to nip it before then so as not to spread anything on the ground/coop.

They are eating organic feed with chick grit added (more chick grit for the older ones than the younger ones) Any thoughts/suggestions welcome!

Here are two photos of what I am talking about, should I worry??:

That looks normal to me. They shed some intestinal lining every once in a while. If you have an issue, you will see runny pools of poo with runny blood.

whew, I didn't see anything that looked like it on the famous "poop link"! I was worried because it has been every day, not just a day here or there. Wasn't sure if it was the start of something or adjusting to more whole grains over starter perhaps??
