A week ago I acquired some chicks of varying ages (6weeks -12 weeks) who had already been treated for cocci. One chick (I think the oldest one) has normal looking poops EVERY day that have blood in them.
I have six other 3.5 week old chicks and now one of them has a similiar poop.
All the chicks are inside in 2 separate brooders and are acting/eating normally.
The older chicks need to start going outside, but if there is an issue, I want to nip it before then so as not to spread anything on the ground/coop.
They are eating organic feed with chick grit added (more chick grit for the older ones than the younger ones) Any thoughts/suggestions welcome!
