Me and my husband have been looking for an Olde English Bull dog for some time. We prefer them over English Bulldogs.
Well any ways we found a listing on craigslist about one, emailed the guy, told him about us, our family, etc and he emailed back asking us to call him, which we did.
He told us this is the 2nd time trying to find the dog a home becouse his wife doesnt really want to rehome him,but knows they need to.
Well we are suppose to go and meet him tomorrow and meet the dog.
I just hope the wife doesnt change her mind again.
I am so excited, but dont want to get my hopes up.

I just keep hoping the phone doesnt ring and its him telling us nevermind.
That would be so heartbreaking. We've been looking for one for along time now.

Why specifically do you want Olde English over, for example American Bulldog? I can understand why you wouldn't want an English Bulldog because of all the health problems.

Thanks

We've looked into American Bulldogs as well, but couldnt find one local.
An Olde English Bull dog is a newish breed, its made up of half English bulldog and the other half is Bullmastiff, Pit Bull, and American Bulldog.
Depending on the lines, most of them look like longed legged English bulldogs, but the lookscan vary.
They are about 20 inches tall and weigh 50-80 pounds.

Good Luck! I've met an olde english that was boarding at one of the vets I worked at. She was the sweetest thing EVER! Such a personality, and very adorable! hoping for a good update and pics!!

Well we didnt get to meet today due to storms, they were pretty bad.
He is suppose to call tomorrow and hopefully we can get it set up for tomorrow night.
Im just afraid the longer we wait, the less likey we are to get him. Im afraid the wife will change her mind again.
Im just hoping if htey do change their mind, they at least call and let us know before we leave, since its a 2 hour drive to get there.
