Hi All,
I would like to get your advice please.
I have nice barred-barred-lavender pekin that I got from holland , but didn't get lavender male.
I have two options:
1. crossing the barred-lavender hen with a cuckoo (barred) roo
2. crossing her with frizzle lavender roo

If you use the frizzle roo you'll get sex links. Only the male offspring will be barred. But then you can breed any males back to mom and get all barred with one frizzle gene

I crossed a red bantam friz hen to a CM roo and got a medium sized barred friz hen who lays small eggs. She is pretty and I like her. Don't have any pics. She's rather ragged cuz the roos like her too.
