Crowing chicken?

    So I awoke to me my 18 week old Brahma hen crowing like a rooster at the break of day... I am concerned she's either a rooster lol or there's something funky going down. My dogs were terrified![​IMG]

    That looks like a rooster - it isn't the best shot to determine from, but the color showing on the wing is dark and I see what looks like saddle feathers showing as well. Can you take a clear side shot?

    I was more concerned with one of my Leghorns that's masculine looking...[​IMG]

    Is the leghorn also 18 weeks old?

    The Leghorns are 18 weeks, my questionable-sex Brahma and Wellsummer are 14 weeks old.

    Oh - your first post said the Brahma was 18 weeks............ at 14 weeks the comb/wattle color and development are even more in the "roo" column to go with the other things I mentioned earlier.
