I have a black cochin hen that is trying to crow. Why is she doing this? It's a really funny crow though. It's my first time here so, I hope I am doing this right.

Kathy mother of 8 hens, 4 black cochins and 4 production reds and two roosters. Plus three dogs. Help!!!

Are you SURE it's a hen? You might want to post a picture of "her," just to be sure. [IMG]

We had a polish bantum hen that crowed in the mornings and we thought she was a roo till she started laying eggs. She was the only bantum in a bunch on ameraucanas so there was no doubt they were her eggs! [IMG]
