Crown has Black stuff

One of my hens has some type of black growth on her crown and below her eye. It is not draining nor can I scrap it off. I doesn't seem to be bothering her eating or drinking but she is several months old and has not started laying yet. Do I need to quarantine and what do I treat it with????Help Denise
