    Hi everyone
    Sadly
I just heard disturbing news today that four
Muscovy ducks were found be headed floating in one of my community lakes. The resident placed them on the dock to be picked up, and apparently did not make any reports.
I'm deeply saddened by this and outraged that someone would do such a cruel horrible thing to such sweet ducks.
Can anyone give me advice on what to do, I feel this should not be left alone, but dealing with Hoa's are not easy, they don't really care about the waterfowl. Who do you contact about this?

I am so sorry to hear about this @sweetcaroline remember about 4-5 yrs ago Ocala Fl had all the Muscovy's killed at a park in town and there were water fowl rescuers waiting to take them in. I think they went ahead and had them killed considering them pests.

I'd try and find a water fowl rescue that is close and see if they can help. Dealing with an HOA is probably a waste of time.If just you can you get neighbors to form a group and go and talk? numbers speak much louder than just 1.

    Thank you for your advice.
Yes I know Florida has Muscovy Haters considering them a nuisance, I speak to several people out there on a Muscovy FB site that are battling continually to save them.
I think it was a resident on the water because they were found by boat in the middle of the lake. They would have not been seen doing this and the these guys are so tame, but this is just so wrong and cruel.
I'm going to start with our property manger then start going down the line with calls.
Thank you so much for your input, I think your right about people in numbers.
