Crusty Ear Help!

Hello, new to the forum and chicken keeping. Here's a little background...

Last October we got three 8 week old bantams from a rescue centre. One has always been a lot smaller than the others and has had a paler face. She has a crusty ear, originally it was only on one side but now it looks to be coming on the other side. She doesn't seem unwell in herself. Any suggestions of what the cause may be and suggested treatments.

I will obviously take her to the vets if there is no improvement but would ideally like to treat it myself.

hmm, if it seems dry, maybe put vaseline or something on it, but if something else, I dont know.

Got the same issue with my roo. And it smells infected. So I'm going to drop some peroxide in there and see what happens. I think it's an ear infection.
