    Hi guys

can you tell me if this cuckoo maran is a cockerel?

I have 2 cuckoo marans around the same age roughly 2 months old

one has developed a red comb and wattle while the other has none so we are not sure

    thanks

  2. I believe it is a cockerel, pullets should have much darker feathers.

    It's a boy!
Is it just me or do those legs look yellow? It might be the light or the yellow looking hose behind him.

    thanks everyone

pretty much confirmed my thoughts! the 2 of them are very different in the way they act

I wasnt too sure as we got them from a poultry lady and on her chicken website her picture of a maran fully grown looks like this
