cuckoo maran or Plymouth barred rock?

    Got this little girl from the rare marans package at mypetchicken.com... But her legs are bare and as she's growing I'm wondering if she's a maran at all?

    Something tells me that, that is a Barred rock, but you should take more pics in a few weeks to make sure that it is a Barred Rock.

    looks like a cuckoo marans as barred rocks have yellow legs not pinkish white like this one

    it looks like a cuckoo marans, not all of them have feathered feet.

    Yep, lots of cuckoos don't have feathered legs. Look at how "messy" the barring looks vs pictures of barred rocks and you'll see a difference. I think you got a nice cuckoo marans pullet. Hopefully you'll get nice dark eggs!
