Cuckoo Maran?

I got this chick at tractor supply. Apparently the bins were not marked correctly and since I’m a newbie I had no idea. Any idea what type of chicken this is and if it is a pullet or cockerel? I posted pics from 1 week through now at 8 weeks old. Sorry I am in some of the pics, lol. I’m really hoping pullet because he/she is my favorite and looks like I might have 4 Roos out of 6 chicks. Just my luck.

Looks like a Barred Rock (I have one, super sweet bird! My little escape artist!) I am undecided on sex, I heard cockerels should show more white on Black so coloring look a little dark, but the comb & wattles are making me think again? Hopefully someone has a better answer on that for you!

Such a pretty bird! Looks sweet too, lucky you. I don't think it's a Maran unless it's a rooster, as the females have black tails. It could be a mix! So pretty, enjoy!
