These are hatchery cuckoo marans. They are secod generation, these were hatched from the darkest eggs of the first..You can see by the pics that they do lay a lot of speckled eggs..Decent eggs I think for hatchery stock.I took this pic today with a barred rock egg in the middle to give you an idea of color.
