She/he was hatched feb 1st. I have never had this breed before and only have one. I have been told that cm hens can have rather large combs and wattles too but I just want to see what others think about this one

I would say roo for this chick. Yes, hens can get large combs, but they only around sexual maturity. My cuckoo marans hen had barely noticeable combs and wattles until she was about 5 months old. Another indicating factor is the light colored barring. Hens usually have much darker, charcoalish colorings. This chick also has some pretty thick legs and big feet, also a rooster indicator.

yes, this one is a 3.5 week old cukoo maran rooster. thought I'd confirm it for those that might run across this pg wondering the same thing about their chicks
