Cures for egg yolk peritonitis other than antibiotics or Suprelorin implant?

One of my chickens had EYP last year, it was cured first with Linco-Spectin but then she got it again and the antibiotics didn't work, so we got a Suprelorin Implant and she fully recovered up until a couple days ago. I think the implant may have worn off or something as she has lost a lot of weight and has egg-yolky poo, but her belly isn't swollen yet.

Due to the implant being quite expensive, are there any other options? Any drugs that can make her permanently infertile?

I think the only real permanent option is to have her ovary removed so she can't produce eggs any longer. Of course that's a surgery and I bet it'll be much more expensive than the implant.
