My 12 wk old EE roo's toes have started to curl in when he walks/stands. They curl inward. He also canters or gallumphs instead of trotting. He is the only one out of my flock that is like this. I began to notice it after a dog attack that left me with 6 less chickens. Back then I thought he may have been slightly injured because some feathers appeared different on his wing, but chalked it up to his feather pattern. But now I'm wondering if there could be a link. Anyway, what do you guys think?

Here is a pic:

You might try taping that broken looking toe in a straight position, if it will move there easily. If it's old, though, it probably won't. I wonder if she is having some discomfort walking and that is causing the curling.

Thanks for your help.

I really don't know what's going on. He seems to get hotter faster than the other chickens too. I'll check his toe later.
