...and watch your cholesterol rise 40%!
I've heard that too! I wonder if its true.....
Espically for women....
Just had my blood taken Wednesday.
The Dr. will be giving me the bad news next Wednesday.
I hope I die of a heart attack, quick and easy.
I don't want to die of cancer and suffer for months and years.
Let's see where's the bacon?
Quote:If its "high", then get your hormone levels checked. Full panel done on Adrenals and Thyroid is a good place to start.
Meanwhile, fill up on real fats. Butter, lard, coconut oil. Real eggs too
Also, high cholesteraol does not denote heart disease.
More people die of heart disease with low levels then with high.
Cholesterol from food also has nothing to do with levels in the body.
It is in fact our First Aid system, trying to deal with inflamation, or other troubles.
Never try to lower levels. Look instead as to why the body is needing to make so much.
Here is a question for you all.
What food comes to mind, when you hear "cholesterol laden food"?
Quote:Oh Mahonri, you aren't allowed to die of anything. It's against the rules.
Quote:Shortening, or donuts laden with shortening.
Quote:Fried chicken? French fries? How about a cheese filled quesadilla? I have a secret obsession with cheese. My mom always has yelled at me for my cheese intake, but I LOVE the stuff! Shh, don't tell the chickens but I don't really care for the taste of eggs, so when I make an omelet, I add lots of cheese, cause I like the taste of cheese. I'm going to be 35 next month and my mother STILL chastises me if she sees me making an omelet!
By the way, are you a nutritionist? Just wondering.
I am talking about a real food, not a prepared food. Its a food we are constantly told to cut back on for many reasons, even though its all natural.
