Cut/sore on leg

Hi, I just noticed that one of my chickens has a raw spot/cut on her leg. It looks like one of the scales is either coming out or is just swollen up. Do I need to take her in and clean it up and put something on it?

I will have to do that tomorrow as it is too dark now.

The scale doesn't seem to be hanging out like it was.

My bet is injury. Her legs & scales look great to me. I have watched my birds squabbling over the roosting position (on the pole) and my biggest bantam, a buff brahma, she will peck the feet of the offending neighbor, sometimes I think she pecks very hard. I would just watch that spot, clean it up if you need to see it better, and treat the injury only if needed. She should heal up just fine.

Thanks! It already looks better than it did 2 days ago. the scale was protruding. Now it is laying flat. thankfully!
