We started our flock with 2 lovely light brahmas, Kitty and Georgie, in the spring of 2012. Georgie died suddenly last month, and Kitty is very lonely, so we've been looking for some brahma chicks. Couldn't find any brahma chicks, but found a breeder with a new hatch of cochins last week. The breeder has both banty and LF cochins, buff and black. We brought home 4 of them, hoping for mostly girls, as any roos with have to be rehomed. We think we've got 2 bantam and 2 LF. One is obviously buff, the 2 little ones are sprouting tiny black feathers, and the other dark one with the yellow face has some silver grey feathers starting.

Here they are! So fun to have chicks again! peep peep peep peep!

Still trying to think of names for them... So far, we have one named Stinker, one named Chickadee, and two untitled chicks. :)
