My D'uccle is going to a nursing home tomorrow to visit people there...
and her feet were so muddy, that she needed a bath. Here is Celeste holding her after the tub!

I love this picture! You can see her new braces too!

Precious! LOL what a natural smile. You know...what a kind thing to do as well, take your fuzzy baby to the nursing home to visit. Very sweet!

    That is so cute!

The nursing home visit makes me think of Mr. Joy. It's like your D'Uccle is following his legacy. Do you know of Mr. Joy, the therapy rooster? Sadly, he passed away a few months ago.

I LOVE that picture!! Your daughter looks so sweet and the little chicken wrapped in the towel made me say "Awwwwww" out loud! Actually for both of them together- that is one great picture!

Quote:I never heard of Mr. Joy. Did he live at a home or visit alot of them or what? What's his story?
How do you go about taking chickens in to nursing homes? I have a sweet little hen that lets me hold and pet her but I don't know how she would be with strangers.
