    Hi BYC!
I just got an adorable new SILKIE hen! I have been wanting one of these babies for a while now! [IMG] We went and picked up our new Silkie hen around a week ago. We were told she is one year old, and was laying. However ever since she came to our house she hasn't laid anything? Is it because she is traumatized from being separated from her original flock? We have looked all around the backyard, in case she decided not to use her hen house nesting box, but found nothing...? What is going on?

And here are pics of her...warning cuteness overload [IMG]

Most chickens will wait a week or two after a big move to start laying again! Hope this helps! [IMG]
