I have 11 buckeyes and 5 mystery girls. They are adorable! The guessing game for my mystery girls has begun.

This last one is the only one with feathered legs.

The one that has five toes could be a Silkie. If she isn't a Silkie, she's a cross, I'm sure. Could be a Faverolle cross. Could be a Silkie cross. Could be a Dorking cross.

It came from Meyer Hatchery as part of the rare breed mystery. From that it isn’t supposed to be a Silkie. :hmm The puffy cheeks are adorable. She will be loved regardless. So far she is the loudest of the bunch.:love

We are having so much fun with this. I think my 5 toed black chick with the muff and beard is their Green Queen, a clean legged White Maran (they say you may not get feathered legs since they are trying to breed them to that standard but haven’t as of yet), Lavender Orpington, Welsummer, and a Partridge Cochin. Still not sure on the Orpington but still hopeful.
