Cycling chickens

I am wondering if chickens have a cycle for laying? I have 3 3yr olds i know dont really lay regularly i also have 2 1yr olds. I was getting 2-3 eggs beginning of spring now nothing. What could be happening and what can i do?

Egg laying primarily has to do with having enough light per day. Secondary but equally important are age, diet, stress level, and whether they have been recently moved.

How long have you been eggless?
Have there been any recent changes that could affect them?
Check and make sure they aren't hiding them in a new spot.
