Cygnets are 3wks (pics)

    Here is my husband with two of our 3wk old cygnets. Very squirmy and hard to get a picture of at this point. They are also VERY messy and are moving outside permanently soon!

    Oh, their down is so beautiful, it has such a sheen to it. Very cute.

    Did you hatch those out of your eggs? Or did you buy them as babies?

    How much would one of those go for?

    We bought them when they were 3 days old. The gentleman lets the mother incubate, but he has to take the babies since they always get eaten by predators.

    They were $75 each.

    He had to sell his adult pair this year, they were chasing his mother when she tried to fish and she doesn't move very well. He got $900 for the pair.
