Cynthia...new pics of the weird-coloured chick

    Not the best photos though! I'm wondering if it could be lavender. It doesn't seem to be a splash yet, it doesn't have any splotches. Its feathers are all a pale blue/slate/lilac color, and slightly darker on the edge of its wings.

    Gotta be a splash, maybe with minimal patches? Gonna be a real looker. [​IMG] Hope its a hen!

    Cara, that's a splash.I'm officially jealous! Splashy individual feathers will come in later on. Wow, good for you! Now, I'm jealous since its been awhile since I hatched a Splash! Here is one, later owned by Kate herself, as a baby then older:

    Looks like a Splash to me. My Splash Silkie didn't start showing splash marking until atleast 4 weeks.

    Looks splash to me too. Self blue don't get black/blue tips in the tail as in the grown one pictured. Very pretty birds tho.
