cyst on foot - cleaning

I noticed a big bump on one of my chickens toes today. It looks like it's just an infected wound. I looked at bumblefoot pics and it's not that. It's not on the bottom of the foot, it's on the toe. It has a scab on it like it was bit or scratched and now it's all swollen up. It's not pink or red, it's the same color as the rest of the foot. What are the recommendations for cleaning/care? She's not lethargic and is eating/drinking/walking fine. It just looks like it doesn't belong there, so I want to take care of it. Thanks

I have read on BYC that infected feet usually need to be cleaned and packed with antibiotic ointment but have not dealt with this specifically.
