Cystic lump on a turkey?

Does anyone know what this could mean?

So earlier today (August 11 2019) I was outside with my Turkeys, and chickens. I noticed that one of my turkeys had a lump right next to it’s oil gland. I picked up the turkey and was looking at the lump. It was yellowish, crumbly on the outside and the was pushing up out of the skin. I then squeezed the sides of the lump, and a crumbly oily puss came out. I then grabbed tweezers and attempted to remove all of the dry puss. I got most of the puss out before I decided to go inside, and get some hot water, antibiotics, and try and flush the rest of the infection out. After I was done with that it left a non bleeding hole that I sutured shut. Since it was so close to the oil glad, and the puss that came from the laceration was so oily I am scared that my turkeys oil gland could have ruptured or something, and that the cyst will fill up again, or that I permanently destroyed the oil gland. I don’t know what to do, or if my turkey will even be alright. She seems fine right now, but I don’t know if I did something I wasn’t supposed to do or what. Note: the puss was a oily but dry crumbly yellow substance and I don’t know if it was even puss. I unfortunately don’t have pictures since I was to focused on helping out my turkey that I forgot. But I have a picture of some of the puss that got on my pants

Hi there! :welcome I don't know much about turkeys, but it being around the oil gland is a little concerning. Do you have any vets you can take her to and can you get a picture of how close it is around the gland?
