My white leghorn Jane is a daredevil - first she managed to fly up where I though she couldn't get to and get cut on a nail, (all is well now.) but now she keeps on cutting her comb - I have no idea on what! It doesn't seem to be hurting her, she has 3-4 small cuts. Are leghorns prone to comb injuries since they are HUGE? I am really stumped on what she is getting cut on, it could be the rooster, he seems to not like them. Is there anything I can do to help the cuts heal? Like I said, they don't seem to serious and she is acting fine.

She could be injured by something that hangs down low in the doorway or other place she passes. Small, occasional cuts would not be a concern to me. Animals get injured all the time with small cuts and such, and heal just fine.
