Dark Braham or Silver Penciled Cochin Roos?

    I have two of these. I know they are roos because they crow quite loudly! I need to rehome so just wanted to make sure I knew what I had. They are 4 months old and were purchased at TSC from the assorted bantams bin. They are from Ideal.

  2. dark brahma. he has a pea comb, his legs are too lightly feathered for a cochin, and he would appear fluffier if he was a cochin

    Dark Brahma.

    Cochins should have feathered shanks (legs) and a single comb. Yours has a pea comb, so it's a brahma.

    Thank you all very much. I hope that someone will want them! They are both very nice but out of the 6 bantams purchased 4 are roos [​IMG] I am only keeping my silkie although he is not very cute yet. Hope is still in the awkward stage. [​IMG]
