Dark Brahma 3 weeks old Pullet or Cockerel?

First picture is the one I am questioning. The second picture is a Dark Brahma Pullet in the center of the picture same age from the same hatch.

I know nothing about this breed, but check the leg thickness. Roos are thicker.
And when the feathers come in, rounded 3nds are pullets, pointy are roos.

I think the chick in the first pic is a male. Stubby tail coming in and white shoulders. Female dark brahmas do not have any white (aside from the neck feathering). My dark brahmas hatched out 10 March, my male looks a lot like yours!

Updated picture... The tail is still stubby and not like the others. Feather patterns are different too... There's more gray and less penciling.

Oh my! That does look like a pullet now! My dark brahmas are 8 weeks now, I’ll attach a couple of pics of my roo and a pullet. The male has a lot of white, the pullet, although dark in this pic, has the gray/brown lacing. Yours sure looks like a female! Will be interesting to see what it looks line in a few more weeks!
