Dark Brahma/ Brahma Turken cross gender

Just looking for any thoughts on these two Brahmas I have. I was leaning towards cockerel for the Dark Brahma because his chest feathers were coming in pretty dark but now I'm not so sure. My other is a Brahma turken cross. They are both about 4 weeks old.

I think you are correct, that your dark brahma is a cockerel. I'm not seeing the typical brown partridge coloring the females have.
It is, of course, too young to sex the turkin cross.

Thank you. I wasnt sure if the brahma coloring would apply to the turken. I was a little concerned with his waddle development and how red they look.

as a mix.... it wouldn't. It is starting to get reddish, but that can happen also when the bird is excited. They can flush, same as us.... so I'd wait to be certain on the turken.
