Dark Cornish=very noticeable crop????

So-I have just determined that one of the hens of mine is a dark cornish. She is pretty muscular but the last two nights I have noticed that she has a big lump on the right side of her chest. It is kind of squishy but then again she doesn't let me get too close. She is a wild one. Is this something to worry about? She acts normal and eats and looks after her chicks...???? Ideas??

nope, she is eating good! Check it in the morning, it should be down noticeably if not then you need to investigate further.

I took notice this morning and the lump was gone. I think she had just filled up her crop...today the lump is gone for the most part. Whew! I learn more and more every day!
