Dark spot on chicken

About a week ago I noticed a light colored spot. A few days after it turned black/brown then another one grew. What is this and how can I treat it?

That's fowl pox, & will run it's coarse over about a few weeks.

Since it's dry pox, I'd let it run it's coarse. Afterwards your birds will be immune for life.

It's a virus transmitted by mosquitoe bites.

Doesn't really look like Fowl Pox to me.
